The Big Conversation

Over the next three weeks, between September 15 and October 9, I will be holding a series of meetings with residents and local groups. This initiative is called The Big Conversation.

During the general election, I promised to be a strong local voice for Hull West and Hessle and that it what I fully intend to be, but to do this, I need you to tell me your concerns and issues so that I can use them to shape the work I do over the next year.

Since being elected I have been knocking on doors, phoning residents and meeting with local community groups. The Big Conversation gives me time to meet with more people and ensure the work I do in parliament is the work the people of Hull West and Hessle want me to do.

I was elected to help local people and improve the constituency for everyone living here, so please come along to the meetings, and if you can’t make them, email me to tell me your issues. The more people get involved, the better I can do my job.

I look forward to hearing from you all.
