Emma Hardy MP Small Business Saturday winners and runner ups announced!

Emma Hardy, MP for Hull West and Haltemprice, is delighted to announce the winners and runners up of her 2024 Small Business Saturday Awards. After the tremendous success of last year’s awards, which saw an overwhelming response from the local community, Emma has expanded the awards this year to include five categories to better celebrate the diversity of small businesses in her constituency.
 

The 2024 Small Business Saturday Awards saw record numbers of votes, with the local community eager to recognise the contributions of their favourite small businesses. In response to this enthusiastic support, Emma has introduced five award categories:
 

  • Retail 
  • Hair and Beauty 
  • Fitness and Well-being 
  • Food and Drink 
  • Services
     

The winners in each category are as follows: 

Retail Winner: Tea & Bisque-it
Hair and Beauty Winner: Von Rose Hair
Fitness and Well-being Winner: NKH School of Dance
Food and Drink Winner: Cafe Two-O-One
Services Winner: Pink Banana Marketing

The runner ups in each category are as follows:
Retail Winner: Lili & Mila
Hair and Beauty Winner: Paige Lauren Bridal
Fitness and Well-being Winner: Gymophobics
Food and Drink Winner: The Milk Well
Services Winner: Andy Winter Plastering
 

Emma Hardy MP expressed her thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s awards, saying: “I am absolutely thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024 Small Business Saturday Awards. The response has been overwhelming, and it’s a real testament to the incredible small businesses that make our community so vibrant and strong. These businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and I am proud to support them.”
 

She continued: “This Christmas, I’m encouraging everyone to shop locally and support the small businesses that are at the heart of our local community. Every purchase, big or small, helps strengthen the local economy and keeps our community thriving.”
 

The winners were nominated and voted for completely by the local community with thousands of residents participating. Emma also extended her thanks to all the businesses the nominated businesses for their commitment to providing exceptional services and products to their customers.
 

As we head into the festive season, Emma is urging constituents to continue supporting small businesses by shopping locally, whether it’s finding the perfect gift, enjoying a meal at a local restaurant, or investing in services that benefit our community.
